Understanding Complex Systems. Creating Practical Solutions.

INDAGATUS helps organisations understand complex environmental, sustainability, product, and market challenges, develop practical science-led solutions, and support responsible implementation toward measurable outcomes.

Bridging Applied Natural Science, stewardship, solution development, market adoption, and implementation across Africa.

Where INDAGATUS Adds Value

INDAGATUS works where environmental, product, market, and implementation realities intersect, and where structured diagnosis creates more leverage than execution capacity.

Strategic Environmental Challenges

Water quality, ecological restoration, environmental risk, and monitoring, where the problem needs to be properly diagnosed before an intervention is chosen.

Product Development and Stewardship

Guiding solutions from concept through field relevance, evidence generation, responsible use, and stewardship, so that products perform as intended in real conditions.

Market Development and Adoption

Building technical credibility and adoption pathways for organisations entering or expanding in African markets, where science and market access are inseparable.

Flagship Solution

Floating Ecological Infrastructure

Engineered floating platforms that improve water quality in place, and turn the nutrients they remove into productive output.

FEI treats nutrient-loaded dams, canals, and impoundments without draining or building conventional treatment works. Where conditions allow, the same platforms grow crops, nursery plants, and biomass, and can carry floating solar, aeration, and monitoring equipment.

  • Water quality improvement and nutrient management
  • Ecological restoration and biodiversity enhancement
  • Productive use of excess nutrients
  • Shared infrastructure for food, water, and energy systems

How INDAGATUS Works

Complex challenges are rarely solved by jumping straight to solutions. The work runs as a loop, not a linear plan.

Assess

Clarify the challenge, identify drivers, evaluate risk, establish the evidence needed to decide.

Design

Develop science-led strategies that fit environmental, operational, stakeholder, and market realities.

Implement

Support delivery alongside clients, specialists, technology providers, and implementation partners.

Monitor

Measure outcomes and adapt, so interventions are corrected before the correction becomes expensive.

Selected Experience

Engagements are led directly, with specialist capacity brought in through researchers, technology providers, and implementation partners according to what the work requires.

Start With the Challenge

The best starting point is a focused conversation about the problem, what has already been tried, and what outcome matters most.
